Day after Christmas.

This is one of those moments when you realize that you may have over extended yourself.  We are supposed to do the podcast tonight.  I don’t know if the rest of the crew knows, and I haven’t dropped the shownotes for the last episode.  Sometimes Christmas is more of a hassle then it is worth.

So here is the deal.  I’m sure we will record on some level tonight, and the show notes for the last episode will end up on the site tonight.  And when we do record I’m going to do my damnedest to get the shownotes up for this episode tonight.  That is all.

You have to love the nanny state.

So seriously a 10 year old girl was arrested and faces a felony for bringing a steak knife to school for lunch.  I mean seriously the school officals even said that she didn’t brandish it or threatean anyone with it.  And yet they still felt the need to call the cops, and since they couldn’t get a hold of her parents, the police took her to jail.  And even though they talked a lot about how they treated her nicely, and didn’t treat her like a criminal, she is still suspended from school for ten days and facing a felony weapons charge.

What the hell!  Is common sense really dead in this nation.  She had a steak, and a steak knife, seems kind of like a no brainer to me.  But nope, it is weapon, because all ten year old girls weaponize silverware.  A ten year old boy, I can see a problem there, maybe.  Just fucking dumb.  If my daughter ever gets arrested for something like this, I’m going to flip the hell out.

So me and Doyle and Bobby and Steve are all sitting in a room listening to Penny Arcade discuss the finer points of bear sodomy laughing our fucking asses off.  When one of them says (I’ll credit Doyle), “We should totally do this.”  Well what can I say, I have been mulling over this shit for a few weeks now, and this is the first post for what I’m hoping will be our new podcast.  We’ll see.

So the concept now, is to get the other three guys posting about stuff that they want to post about, and then we’ll get together and talk about some of the shit we posted about.  It will be funny as hell, it will be fun as hell, and you may even learn something in the long run.
