It would be cool to eat the food that I buy.

So yeah the title says it all, our new roommate Gabe has been helping with some of the food and that is really cool. Cant really get mad about that food cause I didn’t buy it. But the foods that I do buy for work lunches and stuff to munch on when I dont feel like cooking get eaten before I have the chance to eat it myself is really annoying. I mean it is seriously getting old. I’ve tried keeping my food wrapped up in the bag still or put away in a cabinet with only my food and that doesnt seem to work either. I just wish this problem didn’t exist. I dont even get the last of my food if there is more than one. It seems petty and its never expensive food but its not about the cost its about the inconvenience and the fact that it has clearly been set aside and not included for everyone. I fear that I will need to buy a mini fridge soon. This post is due mostly to me be hungry and annoyed and thinking about food I should have but do not. And i will just leave it at that im not mad at all if i was i would bring it up to people. Just hungry and now I have to go to the store…

I got slacking issues.

So I am still reading, I am legend almost done though I suck I know im horrible and shouldn’t be aloud to live. But I will keep on truckin on or whatever the hell I keep on doing on or… k I lost myself there but yeah I will be done soon and then I am going to see the movie again and then yes. I will write a detailed review. But thats all from me for now so bye bye.

Proud Mary

So Ike Turner died. So I dug into my CD collection and found a live version of Proud Mary that I haven’t listened to in a long time. Mother fucking brilliant. So it got me thinking about how people are really judged.

If you don’t know, Ike Turner was an amazing songwriter and producer in the really early days of rock and roll and R&B. But what is he really remembered for, “I only beat you because I love you.” He may or may not have been a “good man,” but should one time period in his life really define him. I guess that is really sad to me, and really disheartening. I have a past full of shit like this (not wife beating, but dig deep enough, and there is some bad shit back there), and I really hope that when I die, I’m remembered for doing some good, instead of the evil that I threw into the world.

What do you think? Should people be judged for the good or the bad? Or can you only find the real heart of a person by looking at the whole?

Just thinking about this a lot today. Also if you like Tina Turner, James Brown, that kind of hyped up rythym and blues review shows, ala Blues Brothers. Then you have to check out Sharon Jones.

So I’m thinking it would be cool to know what some of the people reading this blog think we should talk about.

It also looks like there may be a few extra people there to record!  Sounds like Steve, and Francisco, and David will come.  I sure hope so, should be a good time.

With that said, what would you like to hear us bull shit about?

You have to love the nanny state.

So seriously a 10 year old girl was arrested and faces a felony for bringing a steak knife to school for lunch.  I mean seriously the school officals even said that she didn’t brandish it or threatean anyone with it.  And yet they still felt the need to call the cops, and since they couldn’t get a hold of her parents, the police took her to jail.  And even though they talked a lot about how they treated her nicely, and didn’t treat her like a criminal, she is still suspended from school for ten days and facing a felony weapons charge.

What the hell!  Is common sense really dead in this nation.  She had a steak, and a steak knife, seems kind of like a no brainer to me.  But nope, it is weapon, because all ten year old girls weaponize silverware.  A ten year old boy, I can see a problem there, maybe.  Just fucking dumb.  If my daughter ever gets arrested for something like this, I’m going to flip the hell out.

I just have to say…

It took us four years to put together, so I’m very proud.
